This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Channels are fine, but you can do additive layers with linear dodge, or even screen. They are identical (identical only in this case of 3 layers with no channels in common) [link]
Subtractive CMY layer mixing is done with the multiply blend mode [link]
I like your work and specialy painting with the light. I´m going to be assistens for web and print design and in my leasure time I work on my own projekts.
Enought of my person I hope you can help my or better tell me how I can paint the light and what I have to care about.
Sure Rob, painting with light (aka dodge and burn) is done on a new layer filled with 50% grey set to soft light or overlay. Paint with white or black on low opacity to paint light and shadows.
You must have some understanding of the way light hits form, so I'd recommend taking up drawing and digital painting.
